When 2021-2025
First weigh of a never ending project. Shrubs was initiated as logotype sketches for an art gallery in a garden located in Djursland, Denmark. Shrubs is something about the 70’s, nostalgia, family holidays in a house by the beach and low-fi expressions.

Type specimens
Shrubs Light is a font I never finished and thus never released.
The lettershapes are inspired by flower petals and lush gardens. The overall style and typographic expression leans heavily on those of evergreens like Souvenir, Cooper Black and it’s peers, drawn in the early 19-hundreds and popularized in the 70’s.
